Arctic Swim (kind of)

Just returned from a cruise to Norway, which included 2 stops above the arctic circle. On a sea day before those two stops, we crossed into the arctic officially at 1PM.
If this was your first time, and it was for me, it is a blue nose day, and your nose is painted blue (more like a blue dot).
Then, they opened the pool (this is where they cheated, the pool was heated, somewhat). The Captain and his daughter jumped in first, and they were clothed. He had on his uniform shirt, black pants and black socks and she wore black socks, black leggings and a white t-shirt. Then 2 more officers, in their uniforms, jumped in as did the cruise director.
Then they opened the jump to the passengers. Many jumped in, but they were all in conventional swimwear (where is the fun in that!).
I had on tan socks, Levis jeans, black boxer briefs and a long-sleeve gray tee. Yes, the air was a bit chilly, about 60 degrees, but I jumped in too, thinking that if I did it fully clothed, others might join me.
Sorry to report, no one else jumped in as I did, not even a t-shirt.
Still, I got a fun fully clothed swim on the far side of the Arctic Circle, a once in a lifetime opportunity.
